Gee Gee was born on February 27, 1977 in Pomona California. She grew up in La Puente California where she found her love for little league baseball and softball. Not only did Gee Gee excel in sports, she went on to coach little league for many years.
Gee Gee also loved having a good time. She could often be found cruising the neighborhood in her mini truck, pounding some beers and causing a ruckus in the neighborhood. This is how she earned one of her nicknames “Gangster”
In 2000, she gave birth to her first son Daniel and in 2007 she gave birth to her second son Isaac. This allowed Gee Gee to accomplish what she wanted most in life - to love, be loved, and to have a family of her own. She was incredibly in love and proud of Daniel and Isaac. Gee Gee was also a loving Nina and Tia. She was blessed to spend lots of time with her god children , nieces and nephews. This is how she affectionately earned the nickname Mama Gee. When you were with Mama Gee you could do whatever you wanted and not get in trouble. She was a safe place to just be you and be loved.
Gee Gee was preceded in death by her grandfather Sam Olivas, grandmother Virginia Olivas, dad Juan Aldave Sr and mother Emily Olivas. She is survived by her sons Daniel and Isaac, brothers Jesse, Peter, John and Gabriel. She also has loving sister in-laws a brother in-law many nephews, nieces, godchildren, cousins, tias, tios and friends that will miss her dearly.
Mama Gee’s last selfless act on this earth was the gift of organ donation. Her legacy will live on through her sons, her family and the organ and tissue donation, she so selflessly gave.
“Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means ‘I’ll miss you,’ until we meet again.”
