Zelda Ellenburg

Mrs. Ellenburg was born in Easley, South Carolina, on August 12, 1934 to the late Buren Hiott and Velma Bridges Owens. She was a faithful member at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley. Mrs. Ellenburg enjoyed doing word puzzles, cooking, baking pies, and you could often find her snacking on some Butterfinger candy bars.

Mrs. Ellenburg is survived by her son: Tim Ellenburg (Joy); two grandchildren: Ryan Ellenburg (Laura) and Russell Ellenburg (April); five great grandchildren: Cason, Levi, Campbell, Colsen and Callen Ellenburg; and one brother: Rudy Owens.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ellenburg was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Alexander Ellenburg; two siblings: Mina Lee Owens and Donnie Ray Owens.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in the Chapel at Dillard Funeral Home at 2:00PM.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM in the garden room of Dillards.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Cottingham Hospice House, located at 390 Keowee School Rd. Seneca S.C. 29672.
