Philip A Roy

Philip was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 8, 1969, to Lyle Roy Sr. and the late Cressie Lucille Byers Roy. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, who also loved to color, collecting stuff animals, hats, walkie talkies, and riding bikes. Philip was very proud to be able to compete in the Special Olympics.

In addition to his father, Philip is survived by his five brothers and sisters: Judy Cox (Russ), Janet Stewart, John Roy (Terry), Chris Roy (Pamela), and Nathan Roy (Tanya); two sister-in-laws: Ruth Roy and Annette Roy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Philip was preceded in death by two brothers: Lyle D Roy and Steve Roy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends from 1:15 PM until 1:45 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
