Taylors, SC – Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 30, 2020. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Pickens, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Javie Stewart and Rosa Oliver Stewart.
Survivors include her son Steven Holeyfield (Jennifer) and daughter Amanda Michelle Holeyfield. Also surviving are sisters: Linda Smith and Hilda Royster from Taylors, South Carolina and Libby Nichols from Fountain Inn, South Carolina and brothers Jerry Oliver Stewart from Poplar Bluff, Missouri and John N. Stewart from Tamassee, South Carolina. Mrs. Mitchell also leaves behind many precious and loving grandchildren: Alyssa, Nicholas, Gabriel, Briley Rose, Caleb, Sophia and Felicia.
Mrs. Mitchell was predeceased by two brothers Harold Stewart and Jimmy Stewart.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
