Edgar Durham

Mr. Durham was born in Oconee County, SC on October 11, 1932 to the late George and Ethel Patterson Durham. He retired as a machinist from Platt Saco Lowell after 37 years of service. Mr. Durham loved his family, and was a true "family man". He was a member of Tremont Church of God.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Durham is survived by a son: Steven Edgar Durham (Karen) of Easley; his three grandchildren: Kristy Sims (Bill) of Pelzer, Joshua Durham (Laura) of Pendleton, and Brittany Tollison (Nick) of Easley; ten great-grandchildren: Cassidy, Kendall, Katie, Caroline, Noah, Jax, Cael, Bryce, Peyton, Brooks; and a great-great-granddaughter: Autumn. He is also survived by his three sisters: Bonnie Masters, Evelyn Pelfrey (Roger) and Mary Young (Coy).

In addition to his parents, Mr. Durham was preceded in death by his two brothers: Floyd Durham and Monroe Durham; and a brother-in-law: Wallace Masters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Baldwin and Mr. Joshua Durham officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Saturday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
