Carl Chappell

Carl Chappell Pickens, South Carolina Carl Chappell, age 78, husband of Carol Chappell went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 8, 2016. Mr. Chappell was born in Pickens, SC and a son of the late Ernest and Agnes Collins Chappell. Mr. Chappell was retired from The Elljean Plant of Alice manufacturing as a weaver for fifty years. Survivors include one sons; David Chappell (Delane) of Pickens one daughter ;Kem Chappell of Pickens,three grandchildren; Emily Chappell, Luke Chappell of Pickens and Lauren ( Wes) Malone of Piedmont. Mr. Chappell is also survived by three brother-in-laws; Cecil (Norma) Durham, Bruce (Arinda) Powell and Steve (Sherry) Cisson all of Pickens. In addition to his parents Mr. Chappell is predeceased by a sister Ruby Smith. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 11, 2016 from 6 pm until 8pm at Dillard Funeral Home. Service will be held Wednesday October 12, 2016 at East Pickens Baptist Church at 2pm. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will be at the home.
