Betty J. Seaborn Six Mile, SC Betty Jo Willimon Seaborn, 81, of Holliday Road, passed away Monday January 19, 2015. Born in Six Mile, SC, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Eunice Stone Willimon. Mrs. Seaborn was retired from the School District of Pickens County where she served as lunchroom cook at R.C. Edwards Middle School and Six Mile Elementary. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Wesleyan Church, the Ladies Sunday School Class and was a Sunday School Teacher. She also taught the Wednesday services at Heartland HealthCare (Harvey’s Nursing Home) in Six Mile. Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Joseph W. Seaborn of the home; two sons, Reverend Joseph William Seaborn, Jr. (Mary) of Marion, IN and Reverend Dan Seaborn (Jane) of Zeeland, MI; grandchildren, Mary Joy Seaborn, Joseph Seaborn, III (Heidi), Jerolyn Seaborn, Alan Seaborn (Annaliese), Joshua Seaborn (Amy), Cristina Little (Jonathan), and Anna Elizabeth Seaborn; and a great grandson, Jackson Little. Mrs. Seaborn was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Hughes Crenshaw and a brother, Hugh Willimon. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
