Susan Kay, my 'little sister' born when I was 15 years old.  So many memories.  My husband Larry, and I were married in 1963.  Susan Kay was 5 years old.  She was my 'Flower Girl'.  She was the STAR of our wedding.  After our wedding, my family moved to Arizona.  Yes, it was hard for me to adjust without my Susan Kay.  She came to Indiana for a visit in 1975.  She was in high school.  She stayed about one month and flew back to Arizona.  I missed her so much.  A couple weeks after she left, I suggested to my husband, Larry, that we move to Arizona.  Arrived in Arizona December, 1975, Susan Kay was a SR in high school.  We had so much to talk about & to get to know each other again.  She is a 'special sister', with a heart of gold. 

I miss you my dear Susan Kay.  You are now in the Arms of our LORD & SAVIOUR JESUS

Heather was my first girlfriend 15 years ago, I was late bringing her home one night and I remember sue on speaker phone, she pretty much wanted  my head in a stick. Me being the 19 year old I was just wanted to drop heather off and leave. She insisted  ( with that very  distinct tone in her voice)that I stayed at the house till she got home. Me and heather were In the livening room and she came in thru the garage. She went into a long lecture about how I better treat heather the way she deserves and provide for her, that I had better get a job ect.  I tried to answer the questions but at the same time didn’t want to intrupt. Sue was mid sentence asking “if I could cook clean and sew.” She started another sentence but I intrupted with something like “ yes mam I can but I don’t know how to sew” this stoped sue mid sentence( and she got very confused) and got a smile maby a giggle as well. This was a great memory of mine, in addition to the country bars(sue liked her cowboys) and bingo hall. She will be greatly missed. She made a huge impression on me and will never forget.

I grew up with Heather and Sue was always there for her daughter, she will be deeply missed. The grief of losing Sue is great and my heart and prayers are with you Heather, as you navigate the road ahead. Your mother loved you so much, she is proud of you and I know you will always hold on to her and she will always be in your heart. May you find some comfort and peace in the weeks and months ahead. All my love, thoughts and prayers for Sue and Heather.

I met Sue around 1998 when we worked at the Attorney General’s office. We found out we had a lot in common and formed an instant friendship. There was a group of us that spent a lot of Friday nights together out listening to country bands and dancing. Good times! Sue was one of the most caring and giving people I have ever met. We could talk and laugh for hours!

Sue, you will be missed more than you will ever know. I promise to stay in touch with your baby girl and help her out in any way I can. RIP my dear friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Even though I never got to meet Susan, from what I’ve heard she was a wonderful person and she had a kind heart just like Heather. I know you loved her so much, but know your Momma will always be with you. 

I met Sue in 1997 when I went to work at the AG's office.  Sue befriended me and I had a friend for life.
One memory I have is that I had  some very exciting news and I had to tell someone.  So on that early morning, at 3.30 a.m., I decided I would call Sue.  To my surprise she answered the phone.  We laughed and joked about my "news" for about an hour or so.  That phone call was in 1998 and I still treasure the memory of it to this day.
Heather, your mother was one of the best people I have ever known.

I met Sue when I moved from the Midwest to Phoenix in 1998 at a business with live music. She was there with a group of work friends and befriended me my first time there. She always had a smile on her face and was so quick with a laugh yet she possessed  such caring  with a heart of gold ready to help anyone who needed help. 
Although I moved back to the Midwest, we stayed in touch and that caring warmth never left her. Sue will truly be missed. 

I met Sue when she came to work at the same court as I had been working for.  We both had a "talking problem" so our manager moved us together to alleviate the chatter as we didn't know each other at the time. BIG MISTAKE! We had the same sarcastic sense of humor and became fast friends from that first day, driving our "leader" crazier than she already was. Sue was fun as a co-worker, casino partner or just catching up by phone. I miss her but I have some great memories

Sue and I were both working for the Attorney Generals office.  Every weekend  we would go to the Country Western dance places.  We formed our little group of friends at these places and had a lot of fun.  She invited me to stay with her one night  and we talked all night long.  She was a real fun loving person who  was always concerned about helping others.  She introduced me to Bobby Lehman, which I spent 20 years with until his death.   I tried to keep in touch with her every so often on email, but this year failed to  talk to her at all.  I will never forget my fun loving giggly friend.   I am sure she will be in a safe place with our Lord.

I remember how sweet your mom was to me and Dennis. She was always so excited about the cobalt blue glass that we were selling! She was very lucky to have someone like you taking care of her. We send you our love during this difficult time!!
