Susan Marie Harrison

A celebration of life for Susan will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022, followed by a reception from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM.

Sue was born in Riverside, California, and grew up in Palmdale, a suburb of Los Angeles. She graduated from Palmdale High School and went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Hayward. She worked as an accountant and was also a successful entrepreneur.

Four years ago, with the help of Ancestry DNA, she was reunited with her long-lost daughter, Melissa, which added a tremendous amount of joy to her life.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Melissa (and husband, Tom Sprafkin), and her brother, Bob (and wife, Renita Deason). She was predeceased by her husband, Dan, in 2011 and her sister, Julie, in 2017.

Sue was a wonderfully kind and generous person. The lives of those she touched are more fulfilled having known Sue, and she will be dearly missed.
