Shirley Mae Miller

Shirley graduated from Wayne High School in Wayne, Michigan, she was married to Robert Louis Miller on November 4, 1964. Shirley had several clerical jobs over her lifetime, but her main interest and purpose was keeping house for her husband, Robert, and providing daycare and guidance for numerous young children, who even now that they are grown, fondly call her Gramma Shirley and Sweet Gramma. Shirley had a passion for cooking, baking, crocheting and puzzles, as well as being a meticulous housekeeper.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Sheila and Monica, her son Timothy; her grandchildren Jennifer, Whitney, Marcus, Lee, Brian, and Kelly; her great grandchildren Taylor, Jett, Jaxx, Jake, Lexie, Nate, Emery, Amos and Arlo, and one great great grandson due to arrive in December. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the National Kidney Association.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuaries Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A reception will be held immediately following services at 1005 W. Cactus Wren Drive.
