He would often take his family to Rocky Point where he traveled often and would show what the town was all about. Sammy also loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He loved food and would frequent his favorite restaurants, specifically for a good bowl of menudo or sushi.
Sammy was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 428 and spent over 30 years as an Heavy Equipment Oiler. He was a hard worker and knew how to get the job done. Sammy had a heart of gold and would gladly give the shirt off his back if he could. His heart was pure, intentions were good, and he had a lot of love to give. He touched people in ways that will be remembered for a lifetime.
Sammy, you will be missed by all.
