Rose Ann Geitner-May was born September 2, 1927 on a farm in Carslille, Wisconsin to Frank and Mary Geitner. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Everette, Helen, Lucile, Virginia and Clarence. She married Kenneth John May in 1946. Rose and Ken raised seven children and she worked all of her adult life taking off only to have her kids, then mom, went to nursing school at age 50. She was a LPN Pediatric Nurse for 15 years. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth John May II, Gregory Paul May (Cory), Richard James May (Jessica), Scott Thomas May and daughters, Linda Louise May-Wolfe (James), Bonnie Rose My-Luttropp (Richard) and Jeannine Marie May-Williams (Mark). She has eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and is further survived by her brother Clarence Geitner, sisters Lucille Geitner Temby and Virginia Geitner-Owens. Tonight she sits with God, her two grandsons, daughter in law, her husband and parents.
