43, passed away March 29, 2013. Rosa was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 18, 1970 to the late Marcos Ayala, Sr. and Juana Medrano Ayala, but had lived in the town of Guadalupe, Arizona for the majority of her life. Rosa was a member of the Tempe congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was employed by the City of Mesa in the Police Department’s Records division for 15 years.
Rosa was preceded in death by her father and by her sister, Maria Esther Ayala. She is survived by her husband of four years, Gerardo (Gerry) Sanchez, her mother Juana Medrano Ayala, of Guadalupe, Arizona, her sisters Valentina Ayala Valenzuela of Guadalupe, Arizona and Cristina Juarez Fisher of Tempe, Arizona, and her brother, Marcos Ayala, Jr. of Queen Creek, Arizona. Rosa also leaves behind 10 nieces and nephews, and her very special friend, her boxer/mastiff mix Matty.
Viewing will be Wednesday, April 10 from 5-8pm at Resthaven Park Mortuary located at (4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85042. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 11 at Double Butte Cemetery in Tempe, Arizona
