Ronald Nelson Guffey

Ron is survived by his half-sister Cheryl L Brady of Mesa AZ, his step daughter Marty J Huston of Phoenix AZ, his 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with additional extended family and friends.

Ron was born on November 28, 1937 in Rockford, IL to Lowell and Lois Guffey. Ron enlisted in the Marine Corp after high school and served his country from November 1955 to November 1961. Ron married Patricia J. Null on January 11, 1963, they remained happily married for 55 years.

Ron worked as a construction laborer for the Arizona Laborers Union for over 35 years. He was passionate about his family, his country and was loyal to all his friends. Ron loved camping, fishing, hunting, reading and going to the high country to spend time with nature. Ron loved his German Shepherds and always had one by his side.

Ron’s funeral is scheduled for Thursday November 4, 2021 at 10:00 am, with viewing at 9:30 am. The services will be at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ronald N. Guffey’s life.
