Roberto "Junior" Rodriguez

Roberto married the love of his life Irene Rayo on February 9, 2006. From this 10 years of marriage they had 3 sons; Marcus, Isaiah and Matthew Rodriguez. Roberto had a big heart, and always had a smile on his face. He was a man of many trades, from painter, to construction to being a barber. Everyone had a nickname for him, El Compa R., El Cholo, Pelon, and El Junior were just a few.

Roberto was a basketball fanatic with his favorite team being the LA Lakers. He also enjoyed fishing, listening and singing corridos, having friends over to his home and barbequing. He was the life of the party. Juniors favorite food was Chinese and Hibachi Grill was his favorite place to go for Chinese.

Robert is survived by his wife, Irene Rayo, his 3 sons; Marcus, Isaiah, and Mathew Rodriguez, his loving parents, Roberto and Maria Elena Rodriguez; his twin brother, Luis Rodriguez, his sisters; Lilia, Susan and Sharon Rodriguez; his nieces and nephews.

Roberto is preceded in death by his grandmother, Paula Lopez and his best friend, Robert “Crowbar” Jones.

A Celebration of Life for Roberto will be from 5 pm to 8 pm, on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Breakthrough Ministries, 8110 W. Peoria Ave #110, Peoria, AZ 85345. Service will begin at 6 pm. Pastor Manuel Gonzalez will be officiating service. Interment is to follow on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 9 am at, Resthaven Park Cemetery on 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
