Here's grandma and the Braun family with her last year. She's always happy to see the wiggly little great-grandchildren.

I'm glad that I got to spend the time I did with Grandma especially not living close to her! She was always a support to me while I was going to school in Tucson and I tried to stop by to discuss books, TV shows, and the daily menu with her when I would drive through Phoenix! I remember her doing her laps around the house during commercial breaks to keep her body active and her daily reading and crossword puzzles to keep her brain active! I remember how laid back Grandma always was even with the chaos of a full house. She was a great role model of a caring and loving mother and grandmother and she showed us all how to age gracefully!

That one time we took Grandma to Hooters. She was more upset that they didn't sell smoothies and less upset that we took her to Hooters! :)

Some of my fondest childhood memories involve spending time at my Grandma Fry's home in Phoenix. I loved sitting around the kitchen table, playing a game of dice with Grandma and Papa. Grandma loved to read and she always encouraged my love of books. Unfortunately she couldn't persuade me to watch reruns of the Lawrence Welk  show on PBS with her.😁 I love you Grandma!
