Lucy Dee Louise Neal was born December 27, 1942 in Tucson, Arizona. Lucy’s parents were Willie Lee & Beatrice Noriega Neal who preceded her in death. Lucy is the third out of eight siblings, two preceded her in death brothers Jimmy Lee Neal & Robert Noriega Sr.. Also, preceded in death by her son Charles Hayes Jr..
Lucy Neal grew up on Transmission Road “Okemah”, currently known as 40th Street, where she made friendships and built a lifetime of memories. Lucy loved Teaching, Cooking, Camping,Fishing, and Caregiving. Granny had a loving spirit, she would welcome everyone with open arms, if you knew Lucy you always had a place to stay. They called her “OG” granny, She had your back rather right or wrong. She would make meals for the whole neighborhood. Lucy touched the heart and soul of everyone who she encountered, she was loved.
Lucy Neal is survived by: Three sisters Darlene Wimbley, Lena Mae Willis, & Irene Neal. Two brothers Willie Lee Jr. & Richard Neal. Five daughters Marcelina Lee Gatlin, Aurora, Blanca, Lapordina, & Sylvia Garcia. Two sons Clayton Roy Gatlin & Davick Gatlin Sr.. Eight grandchildren Terry Lee King II( Rebecca), Christina Gray(Michael), Kiauna Taylor, Davick Gatlin Jr., Christopher Taylor Jr.(Sier), Daveon, Charles and Dalilah Gatlin. 28 Great Grandchildren, Extended daughters Dolores Medina, Kia Balloon & Lisa Davis. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Lucy was cherished by many and will be remembered by her loving spirit, and beautiful smile.
