Keith Alan Thompson

Keith was born November 30, 1952 in Roaring Spring, PA the son of George Russell Thompson and Louise (Smith) Thompson Foor, both deceased. He grew up in Pennsylvania and Ashland, Ohio. He graduated from Ashland High School where he had been active in the Thespian Club. He continued his education at Monmouth College of Illinois where he secured his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He then went on to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he earned a Master of Divinity Degree. He was ordained by the United Church of Christ. After serving for several years as a chaplain at colleges in Defiance,OH and Odessa, TX, he chose to serve others through his personal life and in his secular career. He worked for several years at a group home in Mesa, AZ and at Terros of Phoenix, AZ. More recently he served for 19 years as CEO and Executive Director for Phoenix Shanti Group Inc., Phoenix, AZ.

Keith is survived by his spouse, Frank Aparicio, step-daughter, Vanessa Aparicio, and seven grandchildren, Chris, Janezha, Frankie, Bernice, Julian, Penny and Eleanor Aparicio. Also surviving Keith are his brother Craig Thompson (Chris) of Gilbert, AZ as well as a sister, Jennifer Foor of Phoenix, AZ, and nephew Adam Foor of Phoenix, AZ. He also has several nieces and great nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled to be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday February 03, 2024 at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary located at 710 W. Bethany Home Road Phoenix, AZ 85013.
