Karen S Pruett

Karen Sue Pruett, of Buckeye, AZ passed away on December 12, 2023 at her home in Buckeye at the age of 66. Karen was born on in Jonesville, Virginia, the daughter of Louis Preston Hodge and Beulah Mae True (maiden name Hines). Since 1968, Karen has called Arizona home. She spent most of her adult life as a homemaker and as a wife and mother. Karen met the love of her life, Wayne Pruett in 1972. They started dating in March of 1973. They would marry in May of 1976. From then on, they spent their lives by each other’s side.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Mae True, her son Shawn Aaron Pruett, her father Louis Preston Hodge, and her great-grandson Kaison Lee Pruett-Rodriguez.

Karen is survived by her husband Wayne Pruett, her four children Bryan, Chris, Nicole, and Jamie, daughters-in-law Angela and Candice, son-in-law Jared, her four grandchildren Shawn, Arianna, Autumn, and Madison, her four great-grandchildren Alaiah, Greyson, Ariella, and Adriel, her brothers Rick and David, and her sister Kim.

Funeral Services are being planned to take place on December 28th, 2023 at 12p.m.
