June V. Gillingham

June V Gillingham, “Grammy,” of Glendale, Arizona passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the age of 95. She was born on June 13 of 1928, in Loraine, North Dakota. June grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

June graduated from North High School in Minneapolis, MN. Later, she would move to California before settling down in Arizona in September of 1960.

She worked as an Executive Secretary for some time, and was passionate in regards to her work at the Arizona State Fair as a Hostess in the Fine Arts and Hobby Building; of which she worked in for 34 years.

June is preceded in passing by her parents, Clarence and Vivian Bothun, of Minneapolis, MD; as well as her brother, Wallace Bothun, of Minneapolis, MN.

She is survived by her husband, George Gillingham, along with:

Daughter Jerilynn Korow and spouse, Randy Korow, of Sun Lakes, AZ

Son Gerald Gillingham of Glendale, AZ.

Grandson Neil Gillingham and his spouse, Julia, of Chandler, AZ.

Granddaughter Sandra Laser and her spouse, Barry Laser, of Joshua Tree, CA.

Grandson Douglas Purchase and his spouse, Danielle, of Putnam CT.

Granddaughter Vanessa Purchase of Chandler, AZ.

As well as two great grandsons, 3 great granddaughters, and one great great granddaughter.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for their wonderful care; especially Nurse Gabby, who gave June so much TLC.

A family Celebration of Life will be held in California in late October.
