Joshua James Coon at the young age of 27 passed away in a car accident in Chandler, Arizona on July 28th, 2021. Joshua was born in Mesa, Arizona on January 4th, 1994, to the parents of James Millard Coon and Lisa Marie Black, Joshua later had a sibling Samantha Kay Dorla Coon. Joshua (Josh is what we all called him) was so full of life and had the ability to light up the room like no other. From the minute he was born we always knew that Josh was going to be a handful for us and let it be known he was. His family was important to him, he loved is sister and always wanted to be her protector. I can remember a time when they were little, he saw a little boy push his sister and he went over to him and pushed him down and said, “that’s my sister you be nice to her!”
Joshua was always the popular person in school and found it easy to make friends with anyone that was around him. He was easy going and always went with the flow of what was presented in front of him. Joshua’s sense of humor was like no other, he could make you laugh even when you were so mad at him!!! This I believe he inherited from his father. Joshua was also the sweetest soul and made everyone feel so comfortable around him.
Josh had many jobs and we always felt that he could do anything. He had this ability of whatever job was in front of him, you showed him once and then he was a pro. He worked many different places, and most of the time his bosses loved him because he was a quick learner and fast. I know his favorite job was being an electrician, I know he love the detail and working with his hands. His greatest job and accomplishment was being a father to Charllotte. I never saw Joshua love someone so much, the look on his face when he looked at her was priceless, sweet, loving and endearing.
Joshua loved being outside and was a complete adrenaline junky! He loved 4 wheeling, riding in a side by side, anything that included danger and speed.
Joshua never married but I do know that he had an incredible love for his girlfriend Georgette Murr, they never had the chance to marry but I know if he had he lived any longer the plan was to always marry her properly.
Joshua was survived by Georgette Murr (girlfriend), Charllotte Jewel Coon (daughter), Lisa Black (mother), Scott Mears (stepfather), Samantha Coon (sister), Dorla Johnston (aunt), Juliet Johnston (niece), Keiko Ratcliff (grandmother), Debra Kerr (grandmother). Predeceased James Coon (father) 1/25/2008.
