Joe is survived by his beloved wife Shirley, his brother Karl, daughters, Catherine and Susan, step-children Shelley and Mark as well as 12 grandchildren and 7 great–grandchildren.
Joe served as a Navy pilot of both fixed wing and lighter than air ships. He began as a Naval Intelligence Officer on the USS Wasp, aide to the Admiral.
After his military service, he went on to achieve a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration and began a long and wonderful career as a hospital administrator in the USA, Saudi Arabia and Europe.
Joe was well respected and held in high regard, always being recognized for his excellence and ability to solve the problem at hand.
All who knew Joe recognized his quick wit, his Hornerian sense of Humor and his great love for his family. Those who loved him will carry him forward in their hearts forever.
