At the age 90, he died peacefully at his home on November 30, 2022. Born in El Paso, Texas Ruben grew up with his mother Belen and 4 siblings. At age 22, he enlisted in the Army. He served during the World War II and while enlisted he met his belated wife, Alicia in Juarez Mexico. Ruben and Alicia had seven children in total they all moved to Phoenix, AZ.
Ruben enjoyed many sunny and warm years in Phoenix doing what he can as a provider for his family as a Narcotic undercover officer and then moving on as into different sales position. He was avid in his church till his very last day.
Ruben was preceded in death by his current wife, Ofelia; brother, Peppe, 5 of his children, 10 grandchildren and 6 GREAT Grandchildren.
A visitation for Ruben will be held at Greenwood Mortuary & Cemetery on Friday, December 09, 2022, from noon – 4pm with Pastor speaking from 1pm – 1:45pm. Burial will continue Saturday at 9:15am, Section 13, lot 13329.
