John Dale Strohl, born August 20, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, joyfully went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 24, 2019. John served in the Marines in Korea and then worked for General Motors in Detroit from 1959 – 1990. When he retired from GM, he and his wife, Lorraine moved to Phoenix after raising their children in Michigan. They lived their life praising the Lord, loving the sunshine of Arizona and enjoying time spent with family. The family will be forever grateful for all the years that he unselfishly took loving care of Lorraine before her passing in July 2018. Her needs were always his top priority. John is survived by two daughters, five step children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. His witty, sarcastic humor will be missed by all of his loved ones.
