Joan Lee Young

Born August 20th, 1940 in Jackson, Tennessee to Tom and Elizabeth West.

Graveside services for Joan will be Tuesday, July 11th at 10:00 A.M. at the

Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler, AZ.

Joan was 75 years old. As a young woman, she attended ASU and earned

her associates teaching degree. She enjoyed raising her children and

watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.

Joan entered into eternal rest on July 6th, 2017. She was preceded into

heaven by her parents, and her husband Billie Young and their sons, Brian,

Burt and Frank Young.

Joan is survived by her siblings Tommy West & Family, Claudia Tabraham

& Family and Betty Wilson and Family. She is survived by her children and

their spouses: Bart & Kelly Young, Amanda & Chris Couch, and Brent &

Randi Young. She is survived by her twelve grandchildren: Briana, Sarah,

Ariana, Brittany, Bryanna, Alexis, Kaitlyn, Gabriella, Natalie, Emily,

Naomi, and Brent Adam. She is survived by her four great-grandchildren:

Ayden, Penelope, Jade and Eleanor.

Joan will be forever remembered for her kind and gentle nature and her

endless patience. A sweet soul has departed us and an angel has returned to

heaven to watch over us all. She will always be loved and missed by those

of us fortunate enough to be touched by her life.
