A celebration of life for Jamie will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022.

Jamie was a man of dogged independence, perpetual humor, and infectious personality. In a life dedicated in service of others, his impact will continue to resonate in the lives of his family and friends. He will be remembered for his selfless strength that allowed others to shine brighter in his presence.

In all things Jamie challenged convention and fought conformity. His unique outlook allowed him to seamlessly blend his personal and professional life, a type of balance that created friends out of colleagues and colleagues out of friends.

At Jamie’s center was a nurturing spirit and a boundless love for his family. He was splendid with children, a wonderful son to caring parents, and a benevolent brother and uncle.

He put a premium on civility and was a staunch defender of those he loved. He was passionate but rarely angry. Tempestuous but never volatile. Wise but not condescending. Jamie would raise his hand in a lively conversation, not to be heard but to remind us all that we weren’t listening.

Jamie is survived by two sets of loving parents: Dione and Mark Etter and Glen and Cindy Williams (Creek), his sister Christen, and a nephew he couldn’t stop talking about, Logan.
