Jack Greer Coleman, age 89 passed away on December 1, 2020 in Camp Verde, Arizona. Jack served in the National Guard for 9 years, gave 70 years of service to the Plumbers Union Local 469 and was the President of Coleman Contracting.
Jack was born August 17, 1931 in Phoenix, Arizona to Beatrice Irene Greer and Jack Coleman. Jack is a fourth generation Arizonian and when he was younger; his sister Kay nicknamed him Jackie.
After graduating from high school, Jack enlisted in the National Guard and was nearly called overseas to serve in the Korean War. He remained State side and served for nine years. He married Bette Jean Campbell the love of his life and they began their family. They were blessed with three children Danielle, Kim and Mark.
Jack became a plumber, which quickly grew in to 70 years of service as a plumber with the Local 469. He also became owner and now President of Coleman Contracting. He is well known in Arizona and served on many committees helping the Local 469 Union. His favorite past time was working on old cars and trucks and reading the newspaper.
Jack is preceded in death by his sister Kay Bielle daughter Kim Coleman, and is survived by his loving wife Bette Jean, son Mark and his wife Rhonda, Danielle and her husband David, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be held at the graveside at Mesa City Cemetery 1212 N. Center Street in Mesa at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
