Grace Anami

Beloved by all who knew her, Grace departed her earthly home in Prescott, Arizona on March 17, 2015, St. Patrick’s Day, to be eternally with her Lord and Savior. Grace Shizuko Iwamoto Anami was born to Junpei and Niki Iwamato on June 16, 1917 in Pupukea, Oahu, Hawaii. Grace married Richard Anami in Honolulu. Richard predeceased Grace in 1996 as well as her son Edward and granddaughter, Wendy Kim. Grace faced many challenges during her life with the loss of vision. With her faith and family she lived independently until she moved to Phoenix and Prescott, AZ in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Lewis, son-in-law Gilbert Lewis of Prescott and Phoenix, AZ, grandsons Eric Kim (Ruby), Darin Kim, Sr. (Annie) Alan Kim (Karen), Charles Anami; granddaughter June Anami, daughter-in-law Charlotte Anami; great granddaughter, Porshia Kim Bray, two great great granddaughters as well as the Iwamato, Anami and Migita families.
