Gloria Jean Patterson

Gloria Jean Patterson was the 6th child of the late Mr. David May and Virginia Marshall May. She was born in Phoenix Arizona on June 28, 1951. Gloria was active in her church Faith Missionary Baptist under the late Pastor Walter F. Thomas Sr. Even after she was unable to attend church she still looked forward to receiving the word from family and friends during home visits. She selflessly provided for her four children and loved spending time with her family and loved ones. On April 1, 2015, God called and Gloria Patterson answered to receive her wings. She will be greatly missed, but we thank God for the time and memories he allowed each and every one of us to have. Gloria Patterson's loved ones who preceeded her in death are both of her parents, sister Temmie Ross and brothers Roosevelt May and Docie May. Gloria leaves to cherish her memories; daughter Serena Price, sons Terry Perkins (Sara), Ruben Perkins (Amy), and Theodore Parker; Grandchildren Denisha Perkins, Terry Perkins Jr, Terry Perkins Jr, Zachary Smith, Isaac McCloud, Rylee Perkins, Jordan Perkins, and Ary'Anna Perkins; Great Granddaughter Leilani Coote; two brothers Dean May (Dorothy) and Leon May (Michelle); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
