Gerald Lewis Robbins (Jerry),95 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away, June 22 at his home surrounded by his family.
Jerry was born in Olean, New York but moved to Arizona to get away from the snow; Jerry loved the Arizona heat.
Jerry served in the U.S. Navy in WWII serving most of his time in the Pacific and helping with the Liberation of the Philippines.
Jerry began his lifetime career in the automotive industry. He was retired from the Arizona state Highway Department. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Whether it was camping, off roading or boating, he loved anything with speed. Boats, sand rails, motorcycles. Jerry and his wife Barbara loved to travel and visited every state in the county.
He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara and his daughter Christina. Jerry is survived by his daughters, Linda Johns and Rhonda Donithan, 6 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren.
