Floyd Dean Davis

Dean was born in Rexburg, Idaho on August 21, 1928 to the late Floyd Erwin Davis and Carrie Crapo Davis.

He was sealed in the Mesa, Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to Melba Jean Fleming on June 12, 1952. They shared nearly 68 years of marriage prior to his passing.

Dean proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years as a Crew Chief for the Thunderbirds and worked at Arizona Public Service as an electrical engineer until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Melba Jean Davis, 5 children Myrla (Karl) Mortensen, Von (Iris) Davis, Alan (Debbie) Davis, Lori (Anthony) Jackson, Rena (Steve) Brooks, sister Alice Ostermiller,

24 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceeded in death by one sister and two brothers.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary 710 W. Bethany Home Road Phoenix, Arizona 85013 on Wednesday evening beginning at 5pm until 8pm. Interment will be held on Thursday at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Road Phoenix, Arizona 85024
