Florence was born in Denver, Indiana to Elvin R. and Myrtle M. (Murphy) Long.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Bailey (after 58 years of marriage); her parents, Elvin and Myrtle Long; her brother and sister-in-law, Eldon “Leon” and Willadeen Lee “Billie” (Hooven); and daughter-in-law Lalanda C. (Guddal) Bailey.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol J. and Bill Lippincott; and her son, Ralph E. Bailey.
She was blessed with 5 grandchildren: Loretta Toll (Erv), Jean Booth (Chuck), Charles Lippincott (Robin), Ann Bedard (Mike), and Michelle Bailey.
She has 9 great-grandchildren: Carol, Bryan, and Christel Toll; Branden Booth (Kelli); Joshua Park (Jennifer), Justin Lerner (Jessica), Brittany Hill (Tay), Sarah Wilmarth (Justin Oliva), and Ashley Bedard.
She also has 8 great-great-grandchildren: Liam Booth, Kascias Park, Javi Parodis, Juliet and Jacob Lerner, Nevaeh Vann, Taylen Hill, Madelyn Oliva, and one on the way!
She salso had many friends that became part of the family and called her grandma!

• They were married on Charles’ birthday…January 6, 1940
• They moved to Arizona on January 24, 1963
• Florence worked 10 years for Pen-Mor sewing factory
• Florence was a devout Christian and was a Methodist all her life
• She was a very independent person; After her husband died she lived by herself for 12 years before moving in with her daughter and son-in-law
• She loved to sew, crochet, needlepoint, telling stories and kidding around with her grandchildren; making memories.
