He retired from the printing industy in 1997, later on he was employed part time
by the Az Diamondbacks.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mercy, and his daughter Cathleen Armenta and grandson Arthur Armenta
Alex is survived by his sons
Phillip Armenta,(Thelma) Steven Armenta(Hilda), and Gregory Armenta
step daughters Maria Nunez, Patricia Florez, and Alicia Florez
