Eloisa Gaytan Ruiz drew her final earthly breath in her home surrounded by loving family on June 28, 2020, in Avondale, Arizona. A native to the state of Arizona, Eloisa was born December 19, 1918 in Sonora, Arizona to Maria Jesus Cota and Concepcion José Gaytan. Eloisa lived in Phoenix for the majority of her life. She was 101 years old at the time of her passing.
Eloisa is survived by her sons, Jesus Romero and Oscar Ruiz; daughters, Maria Espindola, Elva Buckles (Dennis) and Tillie Orona (Steve). Eloisa is also survived by 18 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren as well. Eloisa is preceded in death by her son, Enrique Urquidez and her daughter, Artemisa Nuñez.
As a child of Christ, Eloisa served the Lord and prayed faithfully through to her last days. She was the heart of a large and loving family. And will continue to beat in the hearts of everyone who cherishes her now and forever more.
Due to circumstances imposed by Covid-19 the memorial will be a private service.
