Edward "Vavy" Martinez Conde

Edward (Vavy) Conde 81, of Avondale, Arizona went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2013. He was born to Guillermo and Concepcion Conde on April 21, 1932 in Agua Caliente, Arizona. He married Janie Tover Conde on November 20, 1955. He had a great love for his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a passion for cooking and everyone wanted to know what Edward was going to be prepare next. It was his special gift. Edward was a Korean War Veteran. He served in the Army and the Air Force from 1949 to 1955. He was preceded in death by his mother Concepcion, father Guillermo, daughter Sharon Conde and brothers; Serafin Conde, William Conde, and sisters; Ernestine Conde, Ofy Conde Tover, and Carmen Ortiz. Surviving are his wife of 57 years Janie Conde and his 6 children; Edward Conde Jr. (Phoenix, AZ), Sandra Conde (Goodyear, AZ), Susan Morales (Yuma, AZ), Sally Conde (Los Angeles, CA), Sarah Cabeza (Avondale, AZ), Sophia Conde (Avondale, AZ), sisters; Kay Villa (Buckeye, AZ), Mollie Salazar (Avondale, AZ), Jeannie Rodriguez (Fresno, CA), along with 20 grandchildren, 32 great- grandchildren. Visitation from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Rosary will begin at 6:00pm on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Greer Wilson Chapel, 5921 W. Thomas Rd. Phoenix, Arizona. Funeral Mass will take place at St Henry's Catholic Church at 24750 W. Lower Buckeye, Buckeye, Arizona. Burial will follow at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery where he will be laid to rest at 23100 W. Broadway Road, Buckeye, AZ 85326.
