Charles “Charlie” Wardon Erickson, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Saturday, December 10th at the age of 70. He was born on February 9th, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA. His departure from this earthly life was sudden, but peaceful, while surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Marsha, brother James, sister Mary, children David, Angela & Matthew, daughter-in-law Debbie, and grandchildren Madison, Cameran, Luke & Avery.
Faced with the diagnosis of a rare genetic diseased in 2016, he fought hard and exceeded all expectations, doing so with a smile on his face throughout. His courage, determination and positive spirit will continue to be an inspiration for many.
The family would like to thank The Mayo Clinic and Hospice of the Valley for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final years and days.
