Carolyn attended High School in Catawba County, NC. After high school Carolyn married her high school sweetheart, Jack Dennis Bollinger on October 9,1949 and they settled in Newton, NC. Over the years, work took the couple and their family to Alabama, Louisiana, and Arizona. They enjoyed 73 years of marriage together. Carolyn and Jack worked together in the Fine Jewelry area of the Goldwater Department Stores for many years. Carolyn enjoyed her retirement travelling in her RV, camping, fishing, baking, cooking, and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother Johnny Moser and husband, Jack Dennis Bollinger. Carolyn leaves behind her sister Delores and sons, Dennis Bollinger (Fawn) York, SC, Marcus Bollinger, (Mark) Maggie Valley, NC, Tim Bollinger (Ginny) Fitzgerald, GA, Steven Bollinger, (Nancy) Scottsdale, AZ, Ervin Bollinger (Julie) Phoenix, AZ and nine grandchildren: D’Ette Wager (David), Jack Bollinger (Selah), Clint Bollinger (Natalie), Steve Bollinger (Debbie), Carolyn Andrews (Clark), Tiffany Olivares (Kyle), Candace Bollinger, Dillon Bollinger (Nicole) and Matthew Bollinger; and thirteen great grandchildren, Tavia Hawkins (Theron), Logan Bollinger, Ryan Bollinger, Grace Bollinger, Flint Wager, Holt, Wager, Parker Andrews, Hunter Andrews, Charlote Andrews, Ford Bollinger, Eden Olivares, Roman Olivares and Carson Bollinger and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 4930 E Greenway Road, Scottsdale, AZ, please contact the family or church for details.
