Carl Yee

PHOENIX - Carl Yee passed away peacefully on March 18, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Carl was born on August 11, 1935 in Tai San, Canton China and came to the U.S. in 1951, where his family settled in Arizona. In 1969 he married Gayle Tang in Hong Kong. In 1975 Carl managed and then owned Ranch Market grocery store with his wife Gayle. In 1981, he sold Ranch Market and then started and ran another business enterprise, C.C.'s Liquors, until 1997 when he retired. Carl is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gayle, his eldest son, Herman, his only daughter, Anna (Ken), his son Herbert (Guislen), his youngest, son Harold (Lisa); his 5 grandsons: Alexander, Nathan, Nicholas, Kevin and Noah. He is also survived by his older sister, Wanda, older brother Willie (Jean), step-brother Greg (Star), step-brother Steven (Janet), half-brother Kenneth; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on April 7, 2018 at 9AM followed by funeral services at 10AM at Serenity Mausoleum Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W Van Buren St, Phx., AZ 85009. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Banner Health Foundation, Banner Alzheimer's Foundation, or AZ Hospice of the Valley.
