He was born on May 28, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Gerhard and Helene Mueller, who preceded him in death.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Loretta; sister, Barbara Culpepper and her family; sons Edward, Gregory, and Benjamin; daughters Holly, Melody, Amy, Samantha, and Theresa; as well as his 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Bernie found joy in being surrounded by family and friends, woodworking, and had a passion for exploration of the Bible through study and reflection. He enjoyed sharing scriptures with many of his friends on social media as well as those lucky enough to experience his scripture board in person when posted outside of the front of his house.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to HonorHealth Deer Valley and Hospice of the Valley for their compassionate care during Bernie’s final days.
Bernie Mueller will be deeply missed by all who know him.
A memorial service to celebrate Bernie’s life will be held May 11, 2024 at Koinonia Mennonite Church 2505 N Dobson Rd Chandler AZ 85224.
