Anita attended William T Machan Elementary School, Creighton Middle School, and Washington High School. She was passionate about music, friendships, and family and continued to carry that into her adult life. She had many friends but one who became a sister at the very young age of 6 is Jena Marie Hohn. They worked together in childcare until Anita met her partner, Mary Ann Sanchez, at the age of 21. There they began a chemistry that was magnetic which continued on for almost 25 years. They gave each other so much like companionship, loyalty, family, and true love. Along the way, Anita poured her heart into so many lives, from the children she cared for, to friendships, and the distances she would go for her family. She would always say, family is everything.
Anita knew life was too short and never held onto a single grudge. She leaned on the Lord for much of her positivity and guidance. She loved hard and she is loved beyond measures. Anita always had a big heart and it showed in her kind smile, her warm hugs, and giving spirit. She welcomed everyone with open arms and always brought people together.
