Aida G. Perez

Aida G. Perez, 74, passed away on October 16th, 2021. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1965. After high school she attended beauty school and was a hairdresser for many years. An avid reader, Aida loved reading mystery books religiously, crocheting baby blankets for family and friends, solving crossword puzzles, her animals, and Star Trek. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Elvira Gallegos, her brothers Oscar, Armando, and Mario, and her sister Ruth Martinez. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Angel J. Perez, daughter Elaine Perez, son Joseph Perez, his partner Krisanne Markel, her sister Yolanda Gallegos, and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to either the Arizona Diabetes Foundation or the Arizona Humane Society. Visitation will be on October 24th at Funeraria del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel 5921 W. Thomas Road from 9:30am to 1:30pm. This will be followed by graveside services at Greenwood Lawn Memory Lawn Mortuary and Cemetery 719 N. 27th Avenue at 2:00 pm.
