Ada Margaret Mayse

Margaret was married to Clyde Dale Mayse for 32 years until his untimely death in 1985. He was the love of her life.

She was a loving & caring mother, grandmother (Nana), great grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt & friend.

Margaret was a beloved employee of the University of Kentucky Medical Center for 15 years where she received the coveted “Employee of the Year” award twice. After she retired, she was a volunteer for years at the Markey Cancer Center at The University of Kentucky, a place she loved to go to encourage cancer patients and share her faith. She was a two-time President of The Kenova Women’s Club in Kenova, WV, an honor she held close to her heart. She was a member of Macedonia Christian Church in Lexington, KY.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Henry Curry; her mother, Hazel Irene Curry; her husband, Clyde Dale Mayse; and her daughter, Cynthia Irene Hosseini aka her “Precious First Born.”

She is survived by two daughters, Toni Dale Mayse of Jeffersonville, IN, aka her “Darling Annah” and Tracie Ellen Mayse Hardy of Prosper, TX, aka her “Baby Girl.”

Other survivors include two special sons-in-law, Saeed Hosseini and Steven Clay Hardy; four grandchildren, Kayvon Hosseini, Ireena (James) Dolan, Miranda Baker and Stephen Baker; two great grandchildren, Christian Dolan and Gianna Dolan; three brothers, Jim Bob Curry, David Curry and Danny Curry; one sister, Judy Curry; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Margaret is to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
