Mr. Braun was born January 19, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Clifford and Loretta Diss Braun. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Braun Flick. Mr. Braun served his country in the United States Army. After his retirement from the Army he owned and operated Fast Washer and Dryer Repair Service. Bill was an avid bowler who loved traveling. He was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Deloria “DE” Braun, one daughter, Faith Braun, five nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 1-2pm in Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 3770 Hwy. 431 N. Phenix City, AL., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Brad McDaniel officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of William Harry “Bill” Braun.
