Ina Helen Woodruff

Ina Helen Woodruff, 96 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Columbus Hospice House. Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. EST, Monday, March 6, 2023 in Edgewood hall at Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, GA with Pastor Lynn McManious officiating. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Woodruff was born April 8, 1926 in Cordele, Georgia; daughter of the late Walter and Maybelle Byrd Dowdy. She was a homemaker and member of Chase Memorial Baptist Church in Columbus and attended Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City. AL. Mrs. Woodruff loved to sew and spend time with her family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar V. Woodruff, son, Robert Glenn Woodruff and two grandsons, Kyle Woodruff and Trent Harris.

Survivors include her children, Larry Woodruff (Cynthia), Deborah Woodruff Harris, Randy Woodruff (Starla); grandchildren, Christy Woodruff Fish, Kevin Woodruff (Kristen), Josh Woodruff, Chris Woodruff, Ashley Woodruff Youngblood (Nick), Stephanie Mehaffey, Amanda Clope, Heath Harris(Dani) and 11 great grandchildren.

Flowers are accepted or the family requests donations to Columbus Hospice 7020 Moon Rd., Columbus, GA 31909 in memory of Mrs. Woodruff.
