Born in McAllen, she lived in San Juan. She was a family oriented woman; who dedicated her life to her husband and two sons. Her pride and joy were her sons nothing made her happier than seeing them grow. She lived a love story along with her beloved husband, Jose for almost 21 years. Veronica enjoyed the outdoors and animals, especially cats and ladybugs. She loved unicorns, coloring, puzzles, pillows, music, and shopping for purses and perfumes. She was clever, witty and always joking. Mrs. Garza’s unique personality and charisma is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her parents, Edenina and Juan E. Castillo.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Jose H. Garza, Jr.; two sons, Jose H. Garza III, Juan E. Garza; two brothers, Roberto and Rodolfo Castillo; and numerous extended family.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, April 27, 2020, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
For family and friends afar, a live facebook streaming service will be conducted on Monday, April 27, 2020 from 5pm-6pm, with a 7pm rosary as well as Tuesday, April 28, 2020 from 10am-11am.
