Maria Estela Singleterry

Maria graduated from Mercedes High School and taught Head Start. She married in 1973 to her husband Jose Guadalupe Singleterry. She loved to draw, read and solve crossword puzzles. Maria appreciate and loved her grandchildren very much. She would cook enchiladas and was very known for her rice that she made. She would attend all school functions for her children and as they grew older she attended her grandchildren's school functions as well.

Maria is survived by her husband Jose Guadalupe Singleterry, children Lisa Anne (Balde) Solis, Sandra Singleterry, Joe (Edith Cantu) Singleterry, Andrew Singleterry, grandchildren Michael (Ashely Castillo) Maldonado, Andrew Singleterry, Jr., Ashley Singleterry, Joe Singleterry, II, great grandchild Michael Maldonado, Jr.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577. A burial will occur Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577. A religious ceremony will occur Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
