My sincerest condolences to Lupita’s family. Lupita was a very compassionate person.  She always had a smile and a kind word. I know her passing has created a void, fill that void with wonderful memories of her and carry her smile in your heart. Lupita was my co-worker, but most of all my friend. I will miss her dearly. She helped me in many ways, she will never be forgotten. Sending prayers for peace and comfort during this time. 

My sincere condolences to Lupita’s Family. I was blessed to have known Lupita for almost 5 years and during that time she brought so much joy when she was around. When I would see her, she would always speak very highly of her nieces and nephews. She would show me pictures and always say how much she loved them and how proud she was of all of them. She taught me so much and would always tell me she was proud of my accomplishments at work, even though she was not my direct management. That is just how much a big of a heart Lupita had, always thought of others.  She was more than a co-worker she was my friend. She would always text me every holiday, just to wish me Happy XXX.   Heaven gained a beautiful Angel and she will be truly missed every day.  

I will always remember Lupita’s friendly smile when I would run into her at work. Please accept my deepest condolences and may God comfort you and your family during this time of grief. 🙏🏽

I'd like to express my deepest condolences to Lupita's family and to express my appreciation for sharing Lupita with us. My heartfelt condolences to Lupita's family. Her family was her entire world. She often shared photos of her nieces and nephews and spoke about how proud she was of them and how she loved them so much. I worked with Lupita for several years and I will hold all the memories close to my heart. She had such a passion for her job and cared deeply for her staff. I just saw and spoke to her in October and we talked about our families and work. Thank you for your guidance, for always be straight with me, for saying it the way it is, for encouraging me, for your support and for listening when I needed to vent. You will be missed 💔😭

I can’t believe you are gone. You were more than a friend, you were family.  You will be missed by so many. Sending my condolences to all of your family. They meant the world to you. My most sincere condolences to your family. I was fortunate to work with Lupita for the last four years. She was my lead and then my manager. During those years she shared her love for her family especially her nieces and nephews. She always spoke of all of them with so much love and joy. I will forever cherish the memories that I have with her especially when we would travel together. Especially the laughter, we had many great times that I will forever remember.  My team has suffered a tremendous loss and we will miss her dearly. I am glad I got to meet her, work with her and learn from her.

It will be very difficult to accept the great loss of Lupita's presence.   I've known Lupita for over 14 years and she has never changed.  She was a strong, fun, faithful, loving, kind hearted, great leader, extremely hard-working, dedicated, reliable woman.  Above everything else, the love and dedication she had for her family, her nephews and nieces was endless and unconditional.  I admired her so much for her devotion to her family, friends, and work.  Lupita will be greatly missed.  Please accept my most sincere condolences.  I pray that God may grant all her family, her friends, and her team the peace and comfort needed.  May Lupita rest in peace. 

My deepest condolences to Lupita’s family.  I know that she lived for & loved her family especially her nieces and nephews.  I met Lupita when she first started working for TDHS as a clerk.   We quickly became good friends.  Lupita knew early on that she wanted to move up  the career  ladder and she did! 
Unfortunately that meant that she’d transfer out of the Alamo office.  Even after 20+ years of knowing her, we would call each other and  catch up.   Lots of group texting between her, Adela, Myra & I until late hours talking,  laughing, remembering, & counting the months until their future retirement date.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Lupita. She was extremely passionate about her career, but what I admired the most about her was the love she had for her family especially her nieces and nephews. Lupita's whole family is in my prayers. I'm hurting for her loss, so I know you all are hurting so much more.  Lupita was one of the strongest women I know, and she loved you all so, so much!! We're all gonna miss her so much. She was so good to me. I don't have words to console you, but I will be praying and I trust in Our Lord Jesus Christ to give you all strength and peace. Lupita how difficult is to come to terms with your passing. Our journey as  co-workers to friends started in 2014. Lupita was a special person, who adored her family. Not one person can tell you how much she loved her family, especially her nieces and nephew, because everyone knew. Lupita loved her job and especially her unit, she will truly be missed. She personally mentored me and pushed me along in my advancement, which I will forever be grateful. My sincerest condolenses to Lupita's family and friends. I leave you with a photo, that shows her wonderful smile, her contagious happiness, and how much we enjoyed getting to know Lupita.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to all of Lupita's family. Lupita was my manager for over 4 years and in that short period of time we did share many adventures. We lived in Houston for about 3 months on a special work project before coming home. I will never forget the night we came home from Houston and dropped her off at her home. Her family came running out from the house and they were hugging and kissing her and telling her how much they had missed her. She loved you all very much! I saw Lupita in September and I would never imagine that I would never see her again. She will be missed by many. God Bless You All.

Lupita was so special to me. She shared my Moms Birthday. She was such a Blessing to me and my son when we went thru our own loss. She always told me Family First and I will always have your back. Words can't express how much she meant to me and my son.  Her loss is immense but please take comfort in knowing that her love for you, her family was beyond the physical.  She will be with you always. Keep your eyes on God and please know that so many of us that Loved her and knew her are praying for  Gods consolation of your broken hearts.

It takes at least a moment to process great losses, as this one is. As we often do, I took it for granted that I had more time with Lupita, to get to know her better and learn from her. As Diane mentioned, she was soft-spoken, but always offered great insight and perspective to any situation. She was not afraid to say that needed to be said, and that's what I most admired about her.  

You often hear people say, "work isn't life." I think Lupita realized this was true, and her family and friends mourning today were part of her non-work life.  But I think that she also knew that work is a significant part of life. It is where she spent at least 8 hours of each weekday (and often more).  So in those 8 hours each day, she fostered her team's growth. She supported her colleagues and offered solutions to our organization's leaders. She made sure those 8 hours left a positive outcome, and I will miss that most about her. She was such a rare individual.

Personally, I'll remember and keep missing her support and dedication.  She was always someone I could count on for guidance, and now that guidance is gone. I can't help but resent that this tends to happen to the best of all people. 

Anyway, here's a photo I took at a training, which of course Lupita didn't mind and understood why I wanted to capture these moments.  I'll try to keep remembering her support and when I can, take more pictures of her team.

I have only been working with Lupita's group at OIG for a very short time and unfortunately I did not get to know her well.  Over the past few weeks as we all followed her illness and prayed for her, I heard so many compliments and wonderful things about her kind spirit and gentleness.

Lupita selflessly served the State of Texas for more than 20 years, during which time she touched the lives of countless individuals and  made positive contributions that will leave a legacy for years to come. As a leader, she set an example of positivity, kindness, and teamwork. Her career is a testament to her character - Lupita was a woman of strength, integrity, and compassion. She was often soft-spoken, but we all knew that when she spoke it was because she had something valuable to say.  As it sometimes does, when work became overwhelming, Lupita was the first person to step up and volunteer to help out. And, no matter how busy she was, she always made time to do good within the community. The photo attached is Lupita and her Director, Adela, dropping off donations to a local nursing home last Christmas. Lupita was always there to lend a hand when others needed it - the true embodiment of a servant leader and a beautiful soul.  We, Lupita's work family, are immeasurably grateful for all of her contributions; we count ourselves fortunate to have known her; and we will miss her terribly. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing her with us. We will cherish her memory and strive to continue her legacy in a way that would make her proud. 

My heart is broken! Lupita was my bestest friend in the world! No can or ever will replace her!! I am so sad, but I know she is an angel in heaven watching over everyone she loved!! Miss you Lupita love you!!💔💔💔😭😭😭
