Antonio Milstead III

MCALLEN - Anthony Milstead III, 59, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 in McAllen, TX. Anthony was born on April 26, 1963 to Olivia and Antonio Milstead Jr. in Lubbock, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Melody Cisneros Milstead; and sons Aaron (Taylor) Milstead and Matthew (Damarys) Milstead. Anthony is also survived by his parents, Olivia and Antonio Jr. Milstead; brother Israel (Dana) Milstead; sister Brenda (Ron) Lopez; and grandchildren Evelyn, Julian, and Abigail. Anthony was the son-in-law to Reverend Gale and Eileen Cisneros; and brother-in-law to Marleen (Darin) Stroud and Monica Cisneros Munoz.

Anthony was a man with a strong work ethic, gentle spirit, and contagious smile. As an active individual with a servant’s heart, he dedicated his time to those around him. A man with many talents, Anthony was instrumental in launching several new projects in the Rio Grande Valley that serve thousands of children and families. He also spent his time volunteering with World Vision and managing a warehouse that supplied a local network of churches and pastors with items to serve their communities. He was very involved at Alamo Community Church and enjoyed serving as a Food Distribution Volunteer. In his free time, Anthony enjoyed working around the house, gardening, and watching his favorite football team - the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, Anthony loved God, his beautiful wife, and his family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 10:00am at Alamo Community Church (900 West Bowie Avenue, Alamo, TX 78516) and light refreshments will follow. The funeral service will be live-streamed on Melody Milstead’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MelodyMilstead
