Alfredo "Freddy" Ramirez Jr., age 48, of Pharr, Texas entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Alfredo was born November 2, 1972 to Juanita Ramirez and Alfredo Ramirez Sr.+ in McAllen, Texas.
Freddy was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, loved one and friend. To family and friends who knew him best, Freddy will be remembered as a very exceptional person. Freddy had a passion of helping people in his community and worked in the frontline most of his life. He went above and beyond for all those in need. Freddy was extremely family oriented and was an extraordinary father. Freddy enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies such as spending time with his beloved family, barbeques, and dancing. He also had a love for fast cars.
Simply stated, Freddy was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being caring and giving, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Freddy will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends. He leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories.
Freddy is survived by his wife, Laura Moreno Ramirez; three sons, Nathaniel Ramirez; Liam Ramirez and Alfredo Ramirez III; daughters Lyndssy Ramirez; and Amber Palomares; mother Juanita Ramirez; brother Christopher Ramirez (Gracie); niece Gabriella Ramirez and nephew Christopher Jacob Ramirez; extended family and numerous friends.
Freddy was preceded in death by father Alfredo Ramirez Sr.
A visitation for Freddy will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, Pharr with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass for Freddy will occur Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Jude Catholic Church, Pharr with his interment to follow at 3:00 PM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, Pharr.
