Sandra was born on November 1, 1929 in Austin, Texas. She was married to Pedro Flores. After moving to Austin, Sandra worked for the Travis State School for 27 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Pedro “Pete” Flores. Sandra is survived by her daughters Gloria Rendon (Daniel) and Esther Flores; grandsons, Daniel Rendon (Ashley) and Christopher Rendon; great-granddaughters, Daphne, Delilah, and Devin Rendon; siblings, Lucy Ramirez, Lilly Day, Irene Garcia, Pete Palacio, and Mike Palacio; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Saint Williams Catholic Church, 620 Round Rock W. Drive, Round Rock. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
